By the grace of God and undergirded by its partners, PHCF will become a prayerful evangelical movement with trained people implementing Christ's Great Commission within the healthcare field.
Strives to INSPIRE and EQUIP all Christians serving in the healthcare to demostrate Jesus Christ in their daily life and work.
Francis Grim, a Christian businessman started HCFI in South Africa in 1936. While visiting his elderly father in the hospital, he observed that while the physical needs of patients were being met, their spiritual needs went largely ignored.
Burdened to make a difference in this area, he began to teach a small group of nurses how to provide tender physical as well as spiritual care for the sick.
Francis Grim began visiting the Philippines in 1963. He met the late Rev. Virginia Cruz, who was instrumental in organizing the Philippine Healthcare Christian Fellowship (PHCF). From then on, countless healthcare professionals have been inspired and equipped through seminars, training courses and conferences organized by PHCF.
We are currently active nationwide, with members and fellowship in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
